about angela ramsey robinson

angela-ramsey-robinson2Angela Ramsey Robinson, MA is a Louisville-area Expressive Art Therapist and mixed media artist with a unique professional background.  For over 15 years she has studied and practiced creativity as a tool for healing and transformation.

As a result of her avid interest in personal transformation and consciousness, she began to explore the profound impact the environment had on her own creative expression and healing, as well as that of her clients.  Through extensive studies exploring multicultural views of the power of place, she added a professional certification in Feng Shui to her credentials, giving her a special sensitivity to the impact place has on a person.

With a voracious mind, that is ever exploring and integrating a broad range of disciplines, Angela combines ancient wisdom and healing arts, along with the newest scientific discoveries.  A trained Reiki Master, Angela integrates her diverse background with the newest research on heart intelligence, quantum physics, the emerging field of energy psychology  in order to ignite deep and powerful change.

For many years, Angela passionately shared her unique insights  through public speaking, consulting, and experiential workshops with a wide range of clientele.  Equally at ease with Mensans to moms, preschoolers to emergency room physicians, this visionary has become a trusted guide and coach for many who have set out to activate and explore their highest creative potential.

She relies on her keen intuition and the wisdom of each person she works with to provide the temenos, or “safe place”  required, along with a powerful process for something  magical to occur.  And it happens!

As she explored ritual, art, bodywork and other feminine arts as a way to manifest her desire to become pregnant and have a child, Angela became deeply interested in the distinct connection between creation and birth.  From her own personal path and experiences working with pregnant women, moms, and children over the decades, she has developed unique and effective art therapy practices and rituals that support both women and their babies, from preconception through postpartum and beyond.

The synergy of her complex personal journey as a woman venturing into motherhood, her evolution as an artist, and her unique multidisciplinary professional interests and experience ignited the sparks which led her to eventually begin her latest venture: uzoMa–a space, designed with the intent to catalyze transformation, not only in the individual, but in the larger community and society.
